Iron Springs Pub & Brewery last week claimed a bronze medal in the Brewers Association World Beer Cup®® 2006, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding beers being produced today.
Iron Springs won a bronze medal for The Epiphany, a hoppy amber ale, in the category of American-Style Amber/Red Ale. World Beer Cup 2006 winners were selected by an international panel of 109 beer judges from an impressive field of 2,221 entries received from 540 breweries in 56 countries from around the world. Gold,silver,and bronze medals in the competition’s 85 beer-style categories were awarded April 14th, 2006 during the World Beer Cup gala Awards ceremony and dinner at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle, Washington.
